Mission Statement

To inspire folks who at times feel lost and misunderstood.  Second Gen represents
a culture of young people that still believe and hope for the future.  At times very
controversial, Second Gen disregards social norms and stereotypes that pigeon-
hold artists to a specific genre or image.  Utilizing all talents to further their purpose,
Second Gen shares personal experiences and life-learned lessons in song, speech, word,
beat and poetry.  Unafraid to ruffle feathers, Second Gen confronts the hard-hitting issues
affecting their society, family, and cultures. The story must be told and until the story is told
